Firenza and Venezia

I can never decide how to place the pictures in this stupid blog. It never works how I think it should. We have visited Firenza (Florence) and Venezia (Venice). Sorry. Words simply cannot describe how incredible it really is. The age of everything. And as the streets get smaller, so do the cars. I promise to tell you all about it when I get home.

We are in Bari and have had a wonderful day with all the Members in the Bari ward. We ate a meal like I have never eaten before. I guess I wont need to eat again until I get home on Wednesday. Hope all is well with all of you.

Some sites in Rome

We are such typical tourists. Colleseum, Spanish Steps, St Peter's Square, Trevi Fountain, and the Tiber River. Mix and Match photos. Trevin and his language skills have been way more than helpful. Big eyes, tired feet, smaller wallets. Hope all is well at home.

Catania

This is the lovely hotel we stayed at in Catania. Sleep that night was tough to come by. I think they were offended by how fast I wanted to get out of there.

Picking Trevin up at the Mission Home, we were too excited to remember the camera. So we took a few photos at the airport as we were flying out.

Happy Valentines Day! We spent the evening at the Eiffel Tower. Freezing our little ears off! It was really cool! The city at night from up on the tower is amazing. Very Romantic!

This is a room in Versailles where everything is gold leafed. Truely an amazing place.

Also the hall of mirrors in Louis XIV had built. The gold leafing is only paint, but used to be real. If it was real now, everyone would go out with at least 3 oz. under their fingernails!

My friend John Hutson hasn't changed much. He was so great as a tour guide.

The sign above my tired self says "Reserved for Invalids".

That's me. And we were standing in the entrance to "The narrowest street in Paris" and it really is a street!

We are now in Rome, and this particular internet point will (hopefully) let us post some photos of Paris. Rome is beautiful and the drivers are as extreme as the age of everything. There are no lines on any of the roads. I guess you make up the lanes as you go along. The ruins are everywhere and are surrounded by modern buildings. It's a beautiful day today for a train ride down to Catania. TOMORROW is the big day!

Well. Paris is so incredible. I caught myself numerous times at Versaillais and the Louve with my mouth hanging open. We spent most of the day yesterday with my old friend John Hutson. His version of the 25 cent tour of paris lasted most of the day and we saw more than we would have with a professional tour guide. It was so great to see him. He told us things about Notre Dame Cathedral that I bet are not in the guide books. We ate at a Greek resturaunt.

Today was great with Versailles , the Louve, and the Eiffel Tower were amazing.

This computer is really annoying me. Im having difficulty adjusting to the European keyboard. Many letters are in different places, it wont upload my photos, and the spell check says all the words excetpt Paris are wrong.

Mom and Dad are frantically packing. We are going to have fun while they're gone!

OK. I'm just trying this out. My first Blog! Hope it works.
